seriously though, I have no qualms whatsover of him using lethal force on the grounds of protecting the city and its citizens from terroristic acts.....technically and historically, it's theirs( u know who I'm referring to) but a blight in a form of a religion came and pretty much displaced them...So in total fairness, they have the right to raise hell!....and Duterte is obligated to do what is necessary.......

..but I believe a line should be drawn when young citizens from the city he's sworn in is killed in broad daylight by vigilantes for being pickpockets or drug abusers!....And f.y.i., a childhood school friend of mine was killed waaaay before he ever turned 18 and a former childhood neighbour is a prisoner of his home now because he's marked for death....many things to factor in but both have something in common....being poor....and warnings!?...warning MY ASS!!

Im Davao-Grown...Aint sayin im Perfect but i got no problems with DDS...As long as you stay clean then you dont have nothin to worry about...too many kids, my age (and mind you some are my friends), try to act tough and try to show how tough they are by doin stupid sh*t...well DDS is the face they should stare down and act tough on...nothing against DDS, nothing against everybody, but this is for kids like me who refuse to be a real man thru real ways...boys, that's what you get...act tough now.

I live here i Davao for two decades but I don't fear DDS because I don't do anything that will make them kill me. I f you're into something that is not good of course you will end up on something bad.

My wife is from Davao and i have viseted the city many times. The death squad i absolutely do not believe in. Its very dishartening. We witnessed the aftermath of a death squad hit on a trip into the mountains. It was later on the news. The death squad DOES give warnings before they kill. They will tell the offender to get out of town. We know this for a fact because it has happened to 2 people my wife knows. One was a counsin of hers selling drugs and the other was a college classmate.

eternal vigilance is the price of freedom. these vigilantes doesnt just kill anyone, they target whoever is threat to the city and could buy the justice - drug dealers, murderers, etc. i know it best bcoz im lived in davao since birth.

yeah i agree for that, KILLINGS IN DAVAO are only those who are in dealing drugs and other notorious acts such as snatchers, drug pushers, thief, and other brutal crimes done, this people gave warn before they kill bad guys to out in town or change ur life, if you don't stop those such i mentioned, they will HUNT you. people and place in Davao are VERY PEACEFUL!!, though you walk alone at night on the streets, no one can harm you!! because people of DAVAO are WELL DISCIPLINED!! VISIT DAVAO!!

DAVAO is a PEACEFUL place ever!! compare the streets in manila and davao..?? many crimes on the streets involved by young gangsters and even bigtimes in manila..?? children commits crime are not supposed to be freed!! because they are only MINORS, but they know how to commit crimes, snatching drug pushing and even drug users!! this must be actioned by the city office!! look DAVAO!!! b'coz they knew already what will happen to them when they involved into crimes and drugs!! they face CONSEQUENCE

This report makes the mayor look bad. Somebody who is not from Davao City would easily judge him because of the way he is seen here. Not cool.I Wish you try to know him better before you say things about him.I've only seen him in the streets, never met him personally but I look up to him as a Father,someone who tries to protect his children.Crime,violence,and drugs are some of the worst things a Mayor has to face.He's just the kind of guy for the job.Well done to him.
