Yeah Intelliscopes are good, but I think that the 10 inch LX200-ACF that Meade makes is way better, granted a 10 inch intelliscope only cost around $789 where as a 10 inch LX200-ACF costs about $3700. With a telescope on a mount you can take pictures where as a dobsonian you can not, well at least not long ones.

Besides using a chair you can place your telescope on top of a wire spool if you can find one. It brings the focuser up to eye level and really helps your back.
