This debate happened in 2007 when Huckabee, & Romney were still in the race too. The Republicans would NOT have a debate when they've already got their candidate in John McCain.
Paul needs to either drop out, or run as an independent, b/c the Republican race is OVER!

They have much more in common with the democrats than they do with Ron Paul, a real conservative.
On policies that matter, the economy, federal spending, monetary policy, foreign policy, foreign aid, corporate subsidies, size of government, war on drugs etc. they are almost identical.
However, on issues that are meant as distractions, abortion, gay marriage, etc. you see the major differences.
Reps and Dems are different sides of the same dollar, that's all.
Ron Paul is a gold coin.

ron paul himself seems okay, but the support he was attracting seemed too kook fringe and smelled a bit of leftist infiltration. most took him and his supporters as closer to the far left than mainstream republican. his supporters destroyed his candidacy, as he himself otherwise sounds reasonable.

it was leftist manipulation of republican primaries that gave him the nomination, so most of his support is tepid at best, and he is seen as the lesser of two evils. funny how mccain was once a media darling for being a maverick, yet so many democrats see him as a second bush. of course, on many issues bush was not much of a conservative. personally i disagree with his lack of enforcement of immigration law. but better mccain than obama, who is guided by an anti-white crowd.
