That would suck if the Wolf set both the straw and stick house on fire. The straw one would've set fire in seconds, the stick house might've taken a little longer, and the brick one...well you can't set bricks on fire, but he could try and smoke out the Smart pig, but the Smart pig could outsmart the Wolf no matter what he comes up with

did anyone else find it funny that the pictures on the pigs wall at 8:17, the picture of their mother is a pig with pigletts, and the picture of their father is sausages lol. Brilliant. I can see why Chuck Jones and the rest of the Animators at Warner Brothers were massively influence by this cartoon.

Wow, someone said this was written centuries before Hitler and the Depression. The song wasn't, and Disney constantly retrofitted his story to fit the times. Look at Snow White, completely different from the real fairy tale. This cartoon was a victory hymn in 1933, and again in 1941. Why else would the Canadian government commission these pigs for their war effort, as they did in 1940?

Ok this is the nice version, the original shows the wolf with a Nazi armband. Also the third pigs house blows a little apart and you can see that the bricks are made of money. This is the total fake version. The original shows Walt Disneys hatred towards jews... and i mean... who can blame him?

i didnt know about the political connotations. that actually makes it more interesting, makes u think more about hidden meanings and the symbolism. but, i do have one honest question. surely it shows how he hates the nazis not the jews.... right? i mean if the wolf is supposed to represent the nazis, and the pigs the jews... ultimately the pigs symbolise good and the wolf represents the bad. having said that the pigs arent exactly portrayed as heroes either...
