i shot this a week before sitting my exam for a performance certificate grade 8 drums.
i guess you could use it as a bench mark. if you feel that you could play like this or better while site reading then you are probably at a grade 8 level or higher.
contact rockschool on their website to learn more, buy the book and learn about the examination procedure. the books and CDs are of an excellent quality and fun to play along to.

dropped my sticks on the exam while going for the crash, luckily had an extra pair next to me on the floor that i brought. The examiner said that it won't be significant. hopefully that means he's not going to mark me down, lol.

This makes me love drums, honestly.
I think I could play this with practise obviously, I've played for a long time but never done grades. What would you recommend starting at? I do have technical knowledge which may help. Thanks

Im on grade 5 now, finding them quite easy so far, all distinction to this point, but grade 5 has more slightly more tricky stuff in it, so who knows!
