To 1940semochild: No, they are not copying, they were innovators and Eric Burdon the leader was good friends with the Beatles. They were a part of the "British Invasion" of music in the 1960s and some had similar styles. If you ask most people who were around then, they will acknowledge The Animals' innovation and the fact that Eric has one of the best voices in Rock--ever!

thnx. i didn't really think they were copying, i just see a lotta bands (moderns mostly but none the less)with that same style, I was just curious. I always liked the Animals and they really are criminally underrated.

They are not copying Beatles' suits. Everyone wore that style. My boyfriend had a band and they all wore suits (this one was more stylish at that time).

It's almost like Morrison's, but different. Some people were born with gorgeous voices. I mean, Freddie Mercury apparently had no vocal training; neither did these guys. And yet, in many peoples' opinions, they're much better than those who did...
