I love Les's basslines^^ He was very important for the sound of the bunnymen. And i think this is the first time i hear someone else sing insted of Ian:D Wonderful song! Agree, it's one of their best.

First time I saw this was in a midnight movie house the title was called, " Urge, a musical War " and this was one of the videos shown, I was blown away and liked them ever since. 1982

When I first saw "Urgh! A Music War!", I was very suprised to see this 'Echo clip on there. Splendid film--X, Dead Kennedy's, Pere Ubu, Devo, The Police, Magazine. I used to have it on VHS, but lost that gem years ago......Thanks for posting this!

Mac never rated this song for some reason but I really like it. Does anyone else have the bunnymen boxset that was issued a few years ago. Theres a great extended version of Silver on it. If you don't have I recommend you track it down! Some great live recordings as well. She Cracked is a stand out.

I taped "URGH!" off of th USA network back then and still have the VHS. But it's edited for TV, and I kept trying to pause out the commercials, but I kept falling asleep. So i missed some music and got some commercials but 20 years later those old commercials on cable are hysterical. I saw this movie at the Royal Oak theatre, and later saw Echo &TB there live.(80's)

I have a DVD of it (albeit a very poor transfer from videotape) It looks as though there will never be a clean DVD release due to the difficulty of getting permission from all the artists.
