Who thinks McClellan is very courageous? For those attributing petty, unjustifiable, illogical intentions to him, that says more about you than him. For those arguing from the anti-Bush perspective, listen to him carefully from his perspective, follow the logic and the chronology. It is very clear and he is much smarter than you. This book criticizes political black and white mentality. So maybe you should go read it and then post.

Dan Rather said that too actually, he just spoke at the National Conference for Media Reform, which was organized grassroots style. CBS was actually the only company who didnt support the current administration financially. granted they probably pressure to not report negative and so did NBC

I stand by what said before and add on that Couric did what every1 else did when Mcellands book came out. NBC, CNN, and even Fox breifly apologized or claimed innocence like Katie.

I definitely think Bush is a fxxxing liar about the war and he purpose misled the public as Scott McClenllan alleges. But somehow this guy hardly strikes me as someone who's sincere or even competent. All it shows me is that the whole Bush gang (maybe Powell is an exception) are liars just like their leader!

mcclellands' book is covering 'his' behind. one way or another. is he complicit in the deception...of course he is! but at the very least he has a conscience that was bothered by the bush/cheney lies and war crimes. over 4000 americans soldiers dead, the maimed and wounded, resulting from bush/cheney lies. hundreds of thousands iraquis' dead. most people with a 'heart' would be bothered by that and at some point..speak out. except for bush and company.remember cheney said 'so?'
