Okay look, the change of rules since Mj left is what allowed Kobe what he is right now.
Kobe is the best right now but to say he's better than Jordan is ridiculous.
Kobe in the regular season always has good numbers. But that number decreases slightly in the playoffs.
Jordan on the other hand always has legendary performances from all aspects every season. The thing about Jordan is that he takes it up a notch even further in the playoffs.

A spade is a spade, yow. If I should say that Kobe is not even in the same universe as Michael Jordan, it would still be an under statement. Being the best player is not only about skills and points. It's so much more than that. NBA has lost billions since Jordan left. think about that!! In my country, people stopped playing B.ball since MJ retirement. Kobe just was not blessed with what Michael has. This here, is not an opinion... it's a fact.

Jordan is the greatest player but nobody could say that kobe is nowhere as good as him...kobe holds or share about 7 nba records,30 lakers franchise records, and not to mention a shit load of awards.....there is noone in the nba today that can put up points in the various ways kobe do and not to mention he could be a defensive force on the court to....he may not be the greatest...but is a good arguement and he is the best in the league today

I go to laker games all the time and Kobe is a great player, but those people who compare him to Jordan need to stop watching basketball. Jordan is the greatest of all time while Kobe is one of the ten greatest.
