Mercury's not 5 times better. Stop smoking crack. Many in the music biz, including Schon says, Perry's the best in the biz. I know in the past, Perry was a control freak. I read in a interview not to long ago, he regrets letting Ross and Steve Smith go. And admited what he did in the past was wrong. Perry's a big man to admit his mistakes.

Amazing!! First time I saw this 'kid'. My brother bought tickets for him and his wife and told me to look him up. I've seen Perry sing the song live 'back in the day'...This guy is better live...I shut off the monitor during the song to see if it 'felt real.'

He's a good singer, but he sounds a bit ragged. Of course, no one sounds as good live as they do on record. He over enunciates a bit, so as an interpreter of song, he is not in the same league as Steve Perry. I do look forward to hearing a new album from Journey, however.
