New Order is an English rock group formed in 1980 by the remaining members of Joy Division following the suicide of singer Ian Curtis.
Melding post-punk and electronic dance music, New Order became one of the most critically acclaimed bands of the 1980s. New Order has often been cited by fans, critics and other musicians as a highly influential force in the alternative rock and dance music scenes over the past 25 years.
Current members include Bernard Sumner (vocals, guitars, synthesizers), Peter Hook (bass, electronic drums), Stephen Morris (drums, synthesizers), and Phil Cunningham (guitars, synthesizers). In 2001, keyboardist/guitarist Gillian Gilbert (joined in 1980; she and Morris are married) left the group due to family commitments

New Order - Joy Division est réellement un groupe qui a révolutionné la pop en lançant la New Wave au début des 80ies... Regrets est sans doute l'une de leurs plus belles chansons... Ce clip est loin du sujet de la chanson mais il a le mérite d'être drôle et d'amener un peu de légèreté. Et puis la coupe de Sumner est très classe... ahahaha ! Sacré groupe. Leur dernier album date de 2005... Vivement le prochain !

new order.. one of the best bands in the world.. so much better than joy division..who i love too... this clip is great with hasselhoff.. i think its great they did this on baywatch beach...
by the way the reason gillian left is because bernard and hooky were pissed off that the money was still being split in to 4 and obviously as stephen and gillian were together 2 quarters of the money was going into one house...

Wha' the?! This is funnier than Spinal Tap, and I mean that in the best, most complimentary way possible. Either a.) I never saw this video (unlikely) or b.) I'd forgotten about it due to loss of grey matter from years of over imbibing (most likely). If you look up 'juxtaposition' in the dictionary, there is a still photo of this video.

No, it's not live, it's canned. Thank goodness the 'Hoff was there though (winter coat & shirtless, natch'), just in case a land shark attacked the band, or Hooky had to be pulled off from giving one of the extras in a one piece unnecessary mouth to mouth. I love the girl on the phone at 1:11!P.p.s. - I love, love, love this song.
