Video Description:
This gig started at 1:30 am at the Blender Theater labeled as an after-show party celebrating legendary N'Owlins bassist George Porter Jr's 60th birthday.
Porter's band, Porter Batiste Stoltz played for about an hour till they were joined by the Mule (all but Matt). And for this number, it was just Warren with Danny on keys. Andy played afterwards. Warren even played DRUMS later on. Vid of that to come.
Porter plays that bass like not many others do. Fat sound. Whomp.
Happened to be with my bud DJ at quite the vantage point for this. This was a sick gig and quite intimate, Great stuff to hear at 3am here in the BIG APPLE!!!!!
