I will be showing you how to make ringtones from any song in your iTunes library (Windows ONLY) for free without have to pay to make a song from iTunes crappy ringtone list or any programs other than iTunes.. Its simple and easy to do
I HAVE FOUND THE SOLUTION TO WHERE IT APPEARS AS A BUNCH OF COPYS OF ONE RINGTONE IN THE CUSTOM RINGTONES SECTION ON YOUR IPHONE!
I will post a video explaining how to fix this problem .. it is very simple Thank you!

*** Instead of draging the ringtone to the desktop all your have to do is right click the song in iTunes and press open in explorer then rename it from .m4a to .m4r

** UPDATE - This works with iTunes 7.6 and 1.1.3 (New Update)
sry if the video speed it a little to fast i needed to make it less than 10 so i went for around 5-6 mins

It took me a minute but I finally got it as far as in the iTunes. They are under the ringtones folder there, but I can't sync them for anything into my iPhone. Any help?

when you plug ur iphone into your computer the iphone thing shows up and there are tabs across the top that say (info)(music)(photos) and there is one that says ringtones then in there press sync all or something like that

I can't rename the file extension. It only seems to allow me to change the fil name, except its extention. And when I add .m4r, the file name becomes "hard.m4r.m4a". Help!!

redo the part in the beginning were you change the folder options.. u need to have the extension show up before u change it

Hey, bro...........I did everything U showed me , it worked well but then i plug my Iphone in Itunes....The song (ringtone) wasnt copied to my Iphone, i got a bar said ( "the song" was not copied to the Iphone....because It can not be played)....and I also dont have the "Ringtones" selection on the left hand side in Itune..........Can you tell me what to do, thanks a lot...........
