Now even PBS is making a backhanded attempt to smear Paul-- 5:17 -"Until now, Ron Paul has never said publicly that he doesn't want contributions from white supremacists." What is this statement intended to imply? Then of course they trot out the political analyst to counter Paul's message.

According the analyst, "There should be some sort of social safety net." Unfortunately, I don't feel any more secure for having such a "safety net" because if it exists, I certainly don't see it. I could use some help, where is this safety net? Is it helping all of the people losing their homes because of the interest rate fiasco?

What the anchor fails to mention that one area that would lose funding with a smaller government would be the NEA and federal funding for PUBLIC TELEVISION. Could that be the reason for the slightly negative spin? Hmmm...

And you should. Freedom and Liberty are true worthwhile values. I would cry too. Actually I cry now because finally Americans are listening to this message of freedom of the individual. Ron Paul doesn't want to run your life.

Yes. All the blood sucking leaches on the Federal Governments Tit would have to really work for a living. They would have to attain value for their ideas in the free market. The tit suckers don't really like competition.

I thought this was an excellent segment. Perhaps it wasn't a blatant smear but in their view, an objective assessment? Is it possible that the media honestly thinks this of Ron Paul? You also gotta question, is it possible that the media is out of step with the people?
Don't be so sensitive about criticism, it's gonna come full force in the next few months. And it's gonna be ten times worse.
