How could this happen?! How could Parliament ratify the treaty without the people's vote?
Gordon Brown should be ashamed. Traitors to the British people.

Dear wutru,
Since this channel is meant for educational purposes, we're obliged to explain that according to UK's constitution, the treaty making power is a royal prerogative power exercised by the government.
In British law, a treaty is considered as international law which will only apply as domestic law if there's an Act of Parliament. This is where Parliament comes to the picture.

In a nutshell the EU is becoming a dictatorship.
All the important decsions are being taken away from the public and into the hands of the ruling MEPs.
This is the reason why the Tories don't agree with half the things Labour promote because there always in Labours benefit and not the publics.
It's so obvious that Gordon is trying to do away with UK parliment. Hes signed us away for lots of things and even postponed the election without consulting anyone.

Why is Gordon Brown so hated?
Because he's a ... ( 1 month ago by DavidTL)
Because he's a lying, cheating, pathetic arsewipe of whom not one British citizen had the freedom to vote into office. He's unelected, he lied about the Lisbon Treaty, an early general election and since he became Chancellor of the Exchequer in 1997, this country has slipped further and further into debt. We cannot let him have any more time as Prime Minister. We need a true leader - not a liar (which is a tall order for a politician I know.)
