Born agains and fundanmentalists in the U.S. are training a whole generation to believe in the Last Days of the Earth, almost hoping for the destruction of the current world with a belief that they will be taken up in the sky.
Sounds fatalistic and magical to me.
How about bringing about the message of Christ's love to the world instead of all this hope for destruction.
Just a thought.

the Bible talks about Jesus coming back THE SECOND TIME and FINAL TIME. he doesn't mention coming back the 3rd time? the rapture is a symbolic event.. the books will be sealed then. all has to come to place and then Jesus will come to earth to bring us home.

Jesus came once to be born, in matthew 24 26-30 Jesus comes on the cloud, then in Zechariah 14 verse 4 his feet will stand on mount of Olives. there are 3 different events. which event would you say is being fullfilled when Jesus comes on the cloud.

The Bible does teach God is Love Jesus is about Love, but it also teach's God is bringing his wrath upon all earth not just parts of it. the Bible says to teach about the wrath of God also so there blood wont be on our hands. when Judgement comes people cant say they didnt know about Gods Wrath.

in our time what would be the thing to say if you dont get it you wont buy or sell, just like the bible says without it you wont buy or sell. thats coming soon beleive it or not. if you dont get the national ID card theres stipulations then when the chip comes you wont be buying or selling, cashless society is making its way through out the world why would that be.

jeff101962-I agree that more Christians need to spread the truth about Jesus more than the discussion of destruction to come HOWEVER- the book of Revelation is about destruction caused by mankind. It is important that you talk about these things with family and friends, so they can spiritually build themselves up for the crazy things they are going to experience. The tribulation is NOT going to be a walk in the park. But the strength of Jesus will walk us through the destruction. God Bless

Starshine and Kristimjlove - The tribulation has been used as a scare tactic for far too long. To paraphrase Paul, don't you know that it is the goodness of God that leads a man to repentance? To present Christ as anything but that person who taught that God loves everyone, and in particular, the unlovable, is an injustice to his message. I don't care if you believe in the rapture or not, fear and trembling of judgement and hellfire is no reason to believe in God.

I agree with you- I believe in God, because I have always. I don't spread the word on fear...but if I meet someone that doens't quite believe I inform them about the prophecys that have been fullfilled- and exspecially I inform them about the introduction of the Verichip and where they are headed with it and how the Word of God warned us of that. Jesus already told us we would be persucuted and taken to courts...so yes people should prepare theirselves for some hard trials ahead.

You are right, i don't want to be saved. I want not to be part of a land ruled by a king that kills those who will not stand at his side. Sounds too human of a lord to me. If God would commit genocide, no matter the terms, I would rather have my flesh smolder, and my and tortured for all eternity than commit evil, even in His name. Satan rules the world right now and he is doing all the killing. You don't understand anything because you don't have the intellect, it isnt possible for humans to understand that your eyes are only capable of seeing things that are dieing and passing away. sorry if I did too. I get caught up in the arrogant comments that some people leave and it tends to rub off what I say at times.
friend of mine was praying the other day and gravity multiplied 400 times and he fell to the floor. He heard god speaking to him and he said it was the most amazing voice, and it couldn't be described well with words. It was somewhat thunderous. I know that he wouldnt lie about that, he was still excited about it the next day telling me. Just a good story. What's new?

On a side-note, I would like to explain that my first comment was not a denial or blaming of God for some of the blight that is plaguing the human race. I simply, perhaps ineffectually, tried to convey that I do not think that God would kill all "non-believers" during Armageddon. I believe that people would be judged according to the goodness in their soul, not how many times they have gone to church.
