Video Description:
This is a video photo montage of pictures that represent what we think of the song Paraiso (paradise) by Smokey Mountain. The subject of the video is poverty in the Philippines. This was made as a class requirement for Humanities II in the University of the Philippines Diliman Campus, under Prof. Cecilia dela Paz. I, Aaron, did the 2 hour very quick editing.... its only my second time to use adobe premiere so i hope the viewers get the message!!!

Alam nyo naiiyak na lang ako minsan kung bakit nangyayari sa bansan natin ang ganito gayong kung ating matatandaan tayo ang isa sa mayamang bansa sa southeast/asia. Kung hindi lang sa puro sariling interest ang mga namamahala hindi tayo naghihirap, imbes unahin ang ikakaunlad ng bansa una ang kurakot para nga naman kapag wala na sila sa posisyon hindi sila maghihirap.. sabi nga ang mga bayani nandoon sa libingan kaya bihira na talaga ang bayaning buhay......opinyon lang...

Oo naman sa government! Ang distorted na policy ng government ang dahilan naman din kung bakit naghihirap ang mga Filipino. Why not blame the government? They create this and cant dealt it. Unless if they change the policy sa monetary system. Of course not all politicians are corrupt but most of them ay corrupt na. Be informed and have the understanding kung bakit nangyayari ang mga bagay na ito. Naging scapegoats ang mahihirap dahilan sa distorted na policy ng Philippine government ngayon!

Paano yan greedy sila at gusto nila i-control ang mga mamayanang Filipino. Nasa down knees ang mga Filipino sa mga corrupt na politicians. Paano yan, parang agenda na talaga nila na ganun talaga sila. Pretty sure naintindihan ka naman siguro sa pagsabi mo na sila ay corrupt. Ganun naman sila, of course nakikita nila ito at alam ang solutions. Pero gusto lang po silang ang dumikta at to control the lives of Filipino people.

nanalungkot lang isipin na ang bansa natin na nooy isang paraiso na mganda at sagana sa yaman ay ngayon ay parang isa nang tambakan ng masasamang loob parang mapaka sakit isip kung bakit ganto na ang lugar na dating PARAISO. pero wag tayong manisi o nagturo kung sinu ang dapat sisishin kase pag nagturo ka apat na daliri ang nakaturo pabalik sayo.meaning walang dapat sisihin mas maganda siguro kung tayo na mismo ang mag tulungan. TO MAKE THIS COUNTRY LIKE PARAISO

Sometimes its better to be poor and happy then rich and sad. Look at us we are poor but happy and that can be why God spread us around the world, to work and show others that being poor can also be being content, happy and grateful - things the rich nations forget to be.

ang problema naman sa atin, palibhasa walang magawa ang magasawa kaya dumadami ang mga anak. Sana magkaroon sila ng tamang pagiisip tungkol dito para di sila naghihirap at nadadamay pa pati mga inocenteng mga bata. We really some serious campaign to educate these people about family planning. I wonder who among our government agencies is responsible to do that? There was a drive natatandaan ko para dyan pero wala na ngayon. Ningas cugon as usual.
