I went o Jamaica firs too with just a duffle bag, no camera in 1975. There on a rock were painted these words:"More sure soon come" Negril had no electricity & one water pipe serving this fishing village with water'

Yes, it's a part of the culture, unfortunately. I say that because the fact is that the sale of marijuana is illegal, as it is here in the U.S. People focus only on the "physical benefits" to legitimize its use, but people tend to totally discard that marijuana, like any other mind altering drug, permanently destroys brain cells and interferes with cognitive abilities.

If it destroys my brain cells, how about the 4 books, thousands of articles and newspaper columns, 8 films, hundreds of radio broadcasts and raising a son who was certified 'genius' at age 13.
