Anyway, aggressive violence is intrinsic to the Muslim faith. How do you explain verses such as 9:29, 9:5 and 9:73? GH169: I am merely shedding light on those Qur'anic verses and other sources that the Jihadists themselves use to justify their actions. All the classical Qur'anic commentators (eg Ibn Kathir) elaborate on a doctrine that culminates in offensive military warfare. According to tradition, chapter 9 is the last one revealed by Muhammad so by abrogation (2:106) it cancels all the earlier tolerant verses such as 2:256.

One final point. I have friends living in glasgow, and they tell me that there is a deep rooted hatred for all foreigners in that city. Its nice to believe the warm hype the tartan army football fans give, but dont be fooled, in normal everyday life, that place is more bitter than your average city. Not ony that the sectrarian vile in the city is also highly strung.And due to the glasgow attacks, well lets just say thats another excuse for them to excercise their vile hatred for anything brown.

In 1922 Churchill ceded 80% of the Palestine mandate to the Arabs, now known as Jordan. Technically, it is the Palestinian state since the majority of the people there are Palestinian Arabs. 60% of the state of Israel in 1948 was arid desert, why is that too much for the Palestinians?

The reason there are Palestinian refugees is because the Arab armies who attacked Israel in 1948 told those would-be refugees to leave. Even Mahmoud Abbas admitted this and if the Arab nations really care about these refugees then they should give them refuge but instead they do not do so in order that they may use them as an excuse to attack Israel.

The war in Iraq might have been illegal by UN standards, but I think it was good to get rid of Saddam Hussein, who tried to purchase uranium from Niger and Al-Zarqawi and his Al-Qaeda troop were in Iraq prior to 2003. The reason there is violence in Iraq is because of Islam. True, the Western governments did arm the Mujahadin in Afghanistan, but they had to stop the Soviets from devouring one country after another and Reagan did make big mistakes, but he knew nothing about Islam.

Muslims in Kashmir are not being oppressed, trigot33. The reason they want "self-determination" is so they can merge with Pakistan because of "Muslim solidarity". In fact, Indian Muslims have more privileges than Hindus. Also, how are Kashmiris ethnically different from other northern Indians? It was the creation of that wretched nation Pakistan that led to the bloodshed of the partition of India.
