A Hunyak is my own word. It describes the character, physiognomy and nature of the Middle Europeans, Balkan Europeans and Russians I see in the USA who emigrated here from their verschtunkene countries. Hunyaks are often seen, in all seasons, smoking, standing on streetcorners,in front of pool halls and gin mills wearing black leather raincoats and open toed sandals. Their breaths are putrid and most have facial hair including the women. They also curse like crazy and are very bigoted.

Wall Street is the financial capital of the WORLD. When it and we Yanks prosper, so does the rest of the world. Wall is no longer prospering and the global markets are tottering on collapse. This will mean that Poland will take over the world and all of us will have to become Catholic. All women will have to wear babushkas and all men, black raincoats and open toed sandals. And everyone on the globe will have to drink a six pack daily and belch and fart all day and night.

The freeze-up of the financial system — and government's seeming inability to thaw it out — are a main concern, no doubt. But more people are also starting to look across the valley, as they say, at what's in store once this crisis passes.
And right now it looks like the U.S., which built the mightiest, most prosperous economy the world has ever known, is about to turn its back on the free-enterprise system that made it all possible.

It isn't only that the most anti-capitalist politician ever nominated by a major party is favored to take the White House. It's that he'll also have a filibuster-proof Congress led by politicians who are almost as liberal.
Throw in a media establishment dedicated to the implementation of a liberal agenda, and the smothering of dissent wherever it arises, and it's no wonder panic has set in.

The businesses that create jobs and generate wealth are already discounting the future based on what they know about Obama's plans to raise income, capital gains, dividend and payroll taxes, and his various other economy-crippling policies.

Obama gives a good speech; and his disclosure of his financial/economic rescue proposal sounds very good.
Too bad its all a lie. When Obama takes office, he will be forced as a matter of economic necessity to scrap every one of his fiscal plans. Obama's spending portfolio, if activated, will cause the final collapse of the dollar. It won't work.
The "change we can believe in" slogan won't be worth the cardboard signs it's written on after 4th of November.

U know, I'm very concerned. I read comments about our economy, and the world economy 4 that matter, being in turmoil. N that the rest of the world will somehow be better off; "we bought your economic power so cheap together with our Russian and Middle Eastern friends. Go China, to the top!!"--waruhn. But what ppl forget is that we have real/tangible power (NUKES). So, this economic crisis poses real problems for all of us!

Listen, the U.S. is uncertain in many areas of the economy. Food stamps, wellfare, medicare, and many other gov't programs are responsible for high taxs along with pointless wars. Basically america if screwed roayally. Our economy also effects other countries especially food and textile markets. But to answer your question, if your parents usually buy all your christmas items on credit, it might not be a good idea considering the state of the ecomomy. Unless ur paying cash. Be prepared for it.

Allways cracks me up when they mention how ''they must get the debt down''. If the american government decided to pay all of it's debt their wouldn't be a single dollar in circulation. Why? Because money is print on debt. No debt, no money. More money, more debt, less debt, less money. Simple as that.

He not explains the real reason for the crisis. We have three basic problems: a) the debt based money system. b) banks create money from nothing and get paid interest for money they never had. c) the exponentially growing debt due to interest. Solution is to create money that is not based on debt and that comes into the system by an exchange with goods.
