Actually u can't do the same thing with fruity loops! You hit a stalemate at some point with fruity loops. Woring with a motif and mpc1000 2000 or whateva gives you more to work with. You can't work to your full potential with fruity loops. Thats a childs program. Be more innovative. In order to be spend some money on quality sound and quality equipment and make quality music.

The Motif and the MPC are a good combination, see, FL is good, I use it, but I just ordered an MPC 1000 today, and the quality, warmth, and overall sound on a hardware DAW is much better. Good beat, you got a unique sound

do I need more evidence?
Fruity Loops has a great sequencer and you can sample and use plugins. How is that limited? An MPC or Motif is limited. FL can use MPC swing templates, Motif sounds, anything. MPCs and Motifs are limited, more so than FL.

Quality is very debatable.
THere's no warmth on an MPC 1000.
The MPC 1000 is entirely neutral. If you're talking effects, you can get better effects in software
Overall sound? That has nothing to do with hardware or software.
You can get a fat, clean, thick sound in software.
If you think an MPC will make you a better producer than with FL you are delusional.
I know dudes who sold their MPCs after switching to Reason or Fl or Cubase or whatever you can think of

Chase N Cashe is using Fruity Loops and he did a single for an Atlantic artist and now hes working with DIDDY.

brah i been fuckin with FL for about a year. its okay, but i kinda like having a live feel, you cant get that with FL, analog is better on that tip. and dont call me stupid, maybe ignorant cuz i been fuckin with software and thats all i know, but what ive HEARD is that the quality usually sounds better when its sequenced in a MPC or hardware DAW. and 9th wonder uses FL? i didnt know that. he also doesnt fuck with synths very much am i correct? he also has an engineer with pro tools RIGHT? lol
