Terhan halted their nuclear program in 2003(according to our own intelligence) However, they are allowed to enrich uranium as signers of the Non-proliferation treaty! Isreal has not signed the NPT but for some reason we allow them to have nukes. India also hasn't signed and we have just signed legislation allowing them to obtain more.
Why isn't this even discussed?
