There is more to my story. He is not married, but has a girlfriend and she lives with him. I've been separated from my husband for a year. And yes, my husband is the same one I was with when I realized I was in love with my best friend. I married because I found out I was pregnant after one month of dating him. I was pressured by family and I wanted to do what was right. I broke my best friends heart but he told friends he would wait forever, thinking it wouldn't last. I have always loved him.

I know you're right. It sounds good to come clean. I just have trouble with "having the right" as you said. How can I tell him something he waited so long to hear? I stayed married for so long to someone who is good but not always good for me. I fought so long to believe in the life I chose. I'm filled with guilt in denying HIM and failing my husband. I can't stand causing anyone pain, including my two sons. Does that make sense? Am I hopeless?

you are all so nice saying these sweet things. It's kinda hard for me to take in. I feel the same as you about the time we have on this earth, but I feel torn. Can God bless me for leaving my husband for someone else? I did make contact by the way. We had coffee at starbucks one morning and all I wanted to do was reach over the table and never stop kissing his face. I didn't. He looked great. It was the first time we saw eachother in over 18yrs. We laughed, smiled a lot and flirted. That was it.

Yes you have the RIGHT to do it ! Your life will never be more than what you make of it. I have been myself waiting for my man during 5 years, i was about to tie for this love, when he came back to me after 5 years of deep SILENCE ! Telling me he had always loved me since the beginning but was afraid of not being at my "level". We now live together since 6 month, deeply happy and deeply in love. I have suffered SO MUCH but his words and sincerity and what he gives me day after day is priceless !

This is crazy Im a guy and im going through the same thing. fri night i ran into my first love we dated 15 yrs ago. We spent the hole night talking kissing holding like it was 15yrs ago (wierd). The next morning I realised I have a girlfriend whos been good to me but I fell out of love with her that night! I am so confused when me and my first love broke up there was no closure. Now there is an opening and im going for it. I dont care if i fail. I dont want to leave nothing behind!
