the total cost i honestly hate thinking aobut it total paid = 3029 RRP without installation $4690
2 subs, box & the mono block amp was $1250 RRP $1400
4ch amp for the splits i got 7 years ago paid $1200 RRP $1600
2pair of alpine splits that cost me $179 RRP $600
Deck: was free with a mobile phone contract RRP$790
Cap and wire ect... about $300
i did all the install my self so saved about $500-$700

dudes...u cant judge a sound system, especially one with subwoofers, by a youtube video because cameras cannot pick up the low frequencies, or the high ones, that the system is designed to put out. so its stupid to say "sounds like shit" just cuz your computer speakers sound like theyre farting in your face! i have these same 12s with a bridged 800 watt mono amp in a closed box, and they do slap, but the sound quality is somewhere around 7/10

i have had the same cap for 8 years in my car and i have had no problems what so ever. i heard all kinds of bs like this and as long as your not trying to power 4 18's a cap is just fine.

i got the same sub runnin in a ported box with a memphis audio pr1.1000 amp...it hits hard as hell doing 1000 rms at 1 ohms and 600 rms at 2 ohms. i suggest getting a ported box, itll sound way better.
