A Dream Come True: Chapter 20...

Chapter 20:
*the next day*
*Afifa and Sharmin are in the kitchen part of the bus talking*
Sharmin: so this is it....we're all packed and ready to go.
Afifa: yeah...our train arrives in 1 hour.
Sharmin: I can't believe it's really over...it just doesn't seem real.
Afifa: I'm trying not to think about it...its hurts too much. Did u get to sleep last night?
Sharmin: nope...I think I'm out of tears now. Did u?
Afifa: no...
*they go to where the guys are*
Afifa: *sigh* I think we should leave for the station now.
Nick: when I woke up this morning, for like a split second, it felt like you weren't leaving and everything was how it used to be.
Sharmin: I wish...I really do. *kisses Nick's cheek*
*Tiffany comes in*
Tiffany: hey...I had to come and say goodbye *smile* d'you mind if I tag along?
Kevin: of course not. We're just leaving for the station now.
*At the station*
*Afifa and Sharmin exchange hugs with Kevin and Tiffany*
Kevin: don't you ever forget us! I'm gonna miss you so much...thanks for a great experience. *smile* take care
Afifa and Sharmin: love you Kevin *hug him*
Kevin: *smile* I love you too. You're like the sisters I never had. Keep smilin'
Tiffany: I know we didn't get to know each other much, but I think you are great. Please keep me in your prayers. *hugs both Afifa and Sharmin*
Afifa: we're gonna miss you.
Sharmin: best of luck.
Kevin: bye...
*Kevin and Tiffany go back to the bus to give the others some time alone*
*Joe takes Afifa's hand and walks further down the platform from Nick and Sharmin*
*with Joe and Afifa*
Afifa: Joe I can't leave you *tears roll down her cheek*
Joe: shhhh its gonna be ok *he holds Afifa close to him and gently stokes her hair while she cries into his shoulder*
*there is a cool breeze and it starts to rain. For that moment, it feels like they are the only two people in the world. Joe pulls away from Afifa slightly and looks into her eyes.*
Afifa: Joe I don't know what to do. I-
*Joe pulls her into a passionate kiss*
*With Nick and Sharmin. They are both soaking wet, just holding each other tight under the pouring rain. All that can be heard is the light pitter patter of rain drops and the soft breathing*
Sharmin: Nick, promise me we will never forget each other. I know we have to eventually move on, but please...don't erase me from your heart.
Nick: I will never, ever forget you. Everyday that goes by, you will be in my heart. *he holds Sharmin's necklace that he gave to her* As long as you are wearing this, I am in your heart. Every time you look at this. Just remember me. And I will remember you. You call me. And I will hear you. *pauses* now you promise me...no matter what happens. You will stay strong and be the best that you can be.
Sharmin: *crying* I promise...for you.
Nick: I believe in destiny. One day, we will be together again....no one can replace what we have. I love you, and I always will. *wipes away Sharmin's tears and kisses her softly*
*with Joe and Afifa*
*Joe gently moves Afifa's wet hair away from her face.*
Joe: I will always be with you. No matter how far apart we are. No matter when or where...I will be there *takes Afifa's hand and puts it over his heart* right in here...you feel that? *Afifa nods her head* as long as that is beating, know that you are not alone....don't ever forget that...
*they hear the train coming*
Afifa: this is it...Goodbye... *kisses Joe softly*
*Sharmin comes and hugs Joe and Afifa hugs Nick*
Sharmin: You're great Joe, don't change for anyone
Joe: so are you *smile* so are you.*kisses her cheek*
Afifa: I'll miss you Nick. Thanks for everything.
Nick: I'll miss you too. Keep us in mind *hugs her tight*
*the girls get on the train and sit by the window. Sharmin puts her hand against the glass and Nick joins his from the other side.*
*Joe blows a kiss to Afifa*
Joe: *mimes* I love you.
Afifa: I love you too...
*the train starts to slowly move and for a few seconds Joe and Nick walk alongside it. Eventually they back away and watch the train disappear into the distance.*
So this is where the story ends....
Although the Jonas Brothers and Hope had to go their separate ways, their love for each other never died. And who knows? Maybe someday...somehow...they will be re-united, and the passionate fire of their love will burn once again... ♥ THE END ♥
