The US Army's 3rd Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division operating in Iraq use the Aerostat Surveillance System as part of Operation Marne Torch II. Four insurgents are eliminated after the plant an IED near a major route.

I know very well about recoil. I put 5 rounds in a 3/4 inch grouping from 50 meters with iron sights using a C7 (AR-15). I was also a C9 (SAW) gunner for 3 years. And just 6 months ago I put a 7mm Rem. threw a golf ball at 55 yards. I can send you the picture.

if any of your knew anything about military weapons you would know that the weapon he is shooting is a target area weapon which means not all shots are accurate due to recoil. and the are about half to a quarter of a mile away

Agreed - the voice ovre states that they are at 2,700M. That's over 1 mile away assuming the distance is to target. If it's above the ground (or sea level) they could be 1.5+ miles away. They're shooting from a moving air born target, with a weapon that doesn't rely on pin point accuracy - it's shreading everything in a wide path.

another way to determine the distance to target is to count the seconds from the time you HEAR the gatling gun fire to the time you SEE the rounds impact the ground. they are shooting at a moving target while moving at a distance of 2700 meters vertically but a direct line distance considerably farther due to the angle of trajectory. besides the 30 millimater gun is an area type weapon.
