And "Tron" was actually a damn good movie. Personally I've moved on to the new street fighters but this looks like an awesome way to revisit my turbo days.

This was a project undertaken by SF fans at Capcom. It was made not only to update the old artwork to HD (though the old stuff is very well-drawn, frankly), as well as having great netplay that newer, also fan-based technology allows. Furthermore, the subtitle HD Remix refers to the fact that several gameplay changes have been made to various characters, with input from some of the best players in the world, to improve the old gameplay.
Simply put, this is not a re-relase, or a cash-in.

this game LOOKS amazing. the animation is very smooth and the stages look wonderful. i also think they removed that transsexual announcer (round 1) guy. it should be out by the end of the year i hope!

But what AWFUL HITSPARKS they have.
Come on at least use the capcom vs snk hitsparks, not this little thing.

Edel sf4 IS in 2d you don't know what you're talking about.
This is NOT the same game as ST the whole point of the game is to include classic mode which is regular ST as well as remixed mode where they balanced the cast making the weakest characters better and making the best characters a little worse. Everyone got some changes some more then others which won't be noticeable to average players
