great premise, but the gundams have gone down hill since wing. Wing was really political, very deep, but the characters were all carbon copies. Seed had more emotion and character, but it was that cleche teen school crap that the japanese like. ANd 00...just fails on both fronts, and ends in such a messy was too. What crap. But a great intro.

Wing is better than seed and double zero. It's not crap, but it is no better than Universal Century gundams and Turn A. It was more likely starting from Wing gundam suddenly became 'Super robots'. (Although I can't deny about G gundam. God gundam was a total rip off) Gundam's whole message is to express the tragedy of war. Not political, nor about love. It always has been that way. Well at least for the UC gundams.

ok for those complaining that people in seed dont diee....ok kira and athrun were supposed to die twice(each once during each season) but important characters DID die.Did you even watch the series. In the last 2 episodes of ach season(especially Season 1) half the damn cast died. Personally i like series where you dont know whos gonna die it makes it more interesting than unstoppable main characters.

well i dont know the whole gundam story and i dont care bout it i have seen just gundam 00 and its a very good anime it show how war is it getting close to truth cause it show us that in both sides there casualitites and that plp get in a non ending circle of pain and revenge through their hate unless some1 break it in the show that circle is breaking by the action of celestial being a organization that in the end makes it possible to change a bit this hatred by taking on itself
