Had a look at your favourites, earth wind & fire, abba, Lionel Richie and whatnot, no wonder you can't understand this kind of music. But you had Liszt's Liebestraume. I'm not saying that Lionel's a bad singer though.... just say why this old man is bad.

el merito es del que crea la melodia, Beethoven(alemania), y no del que la toca. la musica es universal, no hay nacionalismos. excelente Arrau.. maestraso

¿Que tiene que ver la nacionalidad aquí? Arrau nació en Chile pero se crió como pianista en Alemania, o alguien cree que en Chile se puede llegar a este nivel con el nivel de educación que tenemos.. menos en latinoamericana por una cuestión de costumbres mas que nada y de perseverancia y tenacidad.
Es la sonata que mas me gusta de Beethoven. Y Arrau la interpreta magnificamente.

el mérito es del creador, por supuesto...pero arrau les daba su sentimiento, madurez, intelectualismo ....... nos dió la oportunidad de escuchar tan maravillosas piezas en las manos de quien aparte de aprendérselas, se involucraba en el interior de ellas.Arrau SABE tocar piano.......el pianista del siglo XX

estimado, Martha Argerich estudio en Argentina y es una de las nro. 1 del mundo, y no creo que en Chile no se pueda llegar a ese nivel de virtuosismo, creo que es más mérito de Arrau que de su docente (aunque éste haya sido discípulo de Lizt)

Tambien el interprete tiene un gran merito.
No es lo mismo escuchar Appassionata de Beethoven interpretada por Arrau o por otro interprete.

Bueno...El Maestro Claudio Arrau (Q.E.P.D) fué considerado por todos los críticos del Mundo, sin exepción, como el más brillante intérprete de las sonatas de Beethoven, no sólo por su extraordinaria técnica y sensibilidad, sino además como un gran estudioso de la música, ya que él estudiaba de las partituras originales...por tanto, su comprensión de la experiecia del autor era mucho mayor...Claudi Arrau fué realmente una contribución masisa al entendimiento de la obra de Beethoven...Chriss.

Selbst im hohen Alter zeigt Arrau noch seine Extraklasse. Mit einer Differenzierung der Klangfarben und sparsamem Pedaleinsatz bringt er Beethovens Dynamik besser zum Ausdruck als jene, die meinen, es krachen lassen zu müssen.
