Actually 109k for a car that goes 0 - 100 km/h under 4 seconds is not expensive. They are also planing to make 30k family car.

Not really a lot of moving parts... an electric motor should only have 1 moving part... the shaft... Everything else is shift electrons and magnetic fields. Biggest reason major car manufacturing has not taken on electric cars, Very little can go wrong with them(thank the powers that be and economics for the infernal combustion engine)

You are an idiot. Think of this... gas is $4.00 right now, this car can fully recharge for less than a $4.00(Your car would need to get 200 miles a gallon to compare.) 98k sounds a lot better when you factor in the money you will be saving by not paying for GAS!

they should make a production version of this car. produce more models. drop all the unnecessary luxury features. decrease power (no, we do NOT need to go 0-60 in 4 seconds). if they are trying to be eco-friendly, that would be the smart choice. i don't think having less than a thousand of these out on the road is going to make much of a difference. now, if everyone had one..

Funny that you believe in conspiracy theories. I always thought electric-cars weren't popular because batteries has so far been crap. You pay 110000€ for a car that you can only drive for 3h and need to recharge for 3.5h at 70A. Then after 2-3 years you spend another 12000€ for new batteries ...hmmm :S
