This was my first video that I put together a few years back. It describes my life before I surrendered completely to Jesus Christ. I was wandering away from God's Love. Putting myself as the god of my life. This song was first recorded in 1974 by a group called Love Song and recorded again in 1994. Please listen to the words. Some of the pictures are right on to the words. Living without Jesus Christ will take you to a dead end. Thanks for watching

It's not about individual recognition, but Chuck Girard may be the most underated artist in modern Christian music. Creative, compelling lyrics with memorable, radio ready hooks that should have spent more time on the radio. Chuck is a bonafide pioneer.

Love Song seemed to be a great band from the 70s. This must be from the Welcome Back album. I just ordered that album last night, got a great price for it.
My father grew up in the 70s, this music means a lot to him, but im afraid hes kinda living his own way, apart from the Lord.
But there music is real touching. This one allmost makes me cry.

We just saw Chuck in Mariposa, CA. He drove up for a few hours to share his music and his love of Jesus. Anyway, he was awesome! He has been spending his summer helping out a street ministry in S.F. evangelizing in the parks there. I remember his music from when I was in high school and I bought the album "Love Song"...got me through tough times...one of the first contemporary Christian albums out there in those days. I went to many Lovesong concerts in the '70's in SoCal. Chuck and the other band members were a product of Chuck Smith's ministry at Calvary Chapel. The band was truly awesome and at one of the concerts played the greatest drum solo I have ever heard (after Chuck read Psalm 150). They had some truly classic songs and really set the stage for many Christian bands to follow. Their opening song "Two Hands" told everyone at the concert where they were coming from. Thank you Noah316 for putting this together. Like so many others here I grew up with Love Song and the Maranatha music groups in So. Cal. This is one of my favorite songs of that time and still brings tears of joy as I trip back to those days in my mind and heart. Lord, thank you for all these wonderful years of walking by my side and being so faithful, so loving, and so kind. God Bless you!

I think it's awesome that this song seems to be hitting right at the very heart of what your dad is experiencing and could really use right now..i hope if he sees this video or hears the album you you picked up, that it rewaters the seed.

Tears streamin' down my face! The anointing is still on Brother Chuck after all these years! I have a recording of my brother singing this song 30 years ago and it's still relevant today. Jesus is and always was the only way home!

There is no way I could put in a YouTube column what this song means to me. I can only share that I will never forget the time I was driving alone in my car and listening to this song (the original version), with a heart as heavy as lead with grief. When he came to the line " . . . till you're resting in the arms of the only One who can help you", I absolutely 'broke' inside in a torrent of tears. I couldn't hold back, I was so deeply and personally touched.

I heard this song for the first time about 25 years ago. The impact it had on me then is just as powerful today. It so clearly describes our life until we find Christ. Life is so meaningless until we give our mind, soul, body, and life to Christ. Praise God He chose me early in life and I've had 53 years of living with Him. I can't imagine my life any other way.
