Lil' Romeo Signs on to Play Basketball For USC w/ O.J Mayo

Rapper Percy 'Romeo' Miller has put his music and film career on hold after signing for his university basketball team. The 17-year-old, who is studying a degree in business administration at the Universities of Southern California, signed for the Trojans last week.
According to AllHipHop.com, the son of millionaire music mogul Percy 'Master P' Miller is the first hip-hop star to receive a full athletic scholarship.
Romeo Nets USC Basketball Scholarship
NEW YORK (CBS) ― TMZ reports rapper Lil' Romeo has earned a full-ride basketball scholarship to USC.
Romeo, whose real name is Romeo Miller, will enroll at USC this fall after graduating from Beverly Hills High School, where Romeo is an honor student. Romeo, 18, will sign his letter of intent during a press conference at the Beverly Hills' Four Seasons today.
His father, rapper Master P, signed with two NBA teams in the late 1990s but was cut during preseason.

what are you anime man a bruin? In rankings, selectivity, and the profile of the entering freshman USC clearly provides a good fucking education. With Cal and Ucla having fat ass class sizes and shitty funding USC will overtake both in rankings.

Yes, I am a bruin and USC has a long way to go before they pass UCLA or Cal in academics. USC is ranked 27th, UCLA 12th. Here at UCLA we foster the "student athlete" with a combination of academics and athletics. At USC, they cultivate goons.

Wait wtf, I guess they are failing to teach you how to research properly at that poorly funded public institution. UCLA is ranked 25, only 2 ahead of USC, I don't know where the fuck you got 12th. US News is the definitive ranking. There are several Daily Bruin articles out now that discuss USC's inevitable rise over UCLA in Academics. But hey man, I gotta say, I'm sorry that the Governator is slashing your funding. Chin up though, you're only a bruin till you graduate; I am a Trojan for life..

Yes the US News rankings are definitive if you go to an elitist private university like SC that hands out scholarships to multi-millionaires like Lil Romeo. The US News ranking are based largely on endowment size and per student spending. However, UCLA still outranks USC. In addition, if you include ranking systems such a Washington Monthly that incorporates research, social mobility, and service were UCLA in ranked 2nd and the Princeton Review you get an average of about 12th.
