"must" be bored vs. "is" bored are two different meanings. I'm just guessing he might be, although you claim to know what he likes which I doubt you can truly know through interviews. But you know what? Our blithering shite is nothing but bloody opinions anyway, mate, so continue your fandom with them as I will continue my critical bent. Btw, I'm not saying thy're not good musicians, just for a 30-something age-wise like me I'm jaded most of the time.

I'm a trifle tired of Interpol being dismissed as 1980s revivalists/nostalgia, especially vis-a-vis Joy Division. For me Interpol has a distinctive sound - notwithstanding considerable variation in the three albums - and like many bands are inspired by other greats: Cure, Bunnymen, Chameleons, in Antics (such as C'mere) REM. Drewlsy, if you've not jaded into invisibility, try listening to the drums on Take You On A Cruise and Stella Was a Diver. Like the rest of Interpol, Sam is brilliant
