I just watched this show on Fox.
I seriously think it's more than just a show about an angry limey and submissive managers.
This show conditions people to comply with authoritarian ideals.
Why doesn't Gordon go fuck with corporations? How much shit would he find in those restaurants? Go to Red Lobster Gordon-tell me how much of their shit is frozen to begin with and how long it's been there.
but no-fuck with a private restaurant-so more dumb Americans will be skeptical of them.

I just hate what the show encourages...all these people bitching about their dining experience.
You know-when I go out to eat-I know it's a risk. If my food tastes bad. I stop eating it, but still pay for it. I don't bitch about it, I just don't go there again.
But from working in restaurants, I know I'm rare.
Most people act like you held a gun to their head and made them eat all the food that supposedly tastes so bad.
People are full of shit-let's make a show about that!

Gorden is such a grate man he can seem like such a bitch at times but honestly he has a haert and he is trying to help. That is usually the case when a British show and an American show have the same premise. I think it is because the UK doesn't have to deal with the same dumbing down as American productions. FOX anyone? And for the record, I am American, I just appreciate a quality TV show.
