He doesnt sing in the first movie coz he didnt want to.
But he does in the second.
Just because he sang in his audition doesnt mean he actually sang in the first movie! Geeeez settle down!

Zac Efron did sing in HSM 1, his voice was blended with that of Drew Seeley's because it had a low voice range. He sings all of HSM2 on his own, no collaboration. Hairspray is also all his own work for those interested.

i luv the film and the cast but wenever there is a press interview or summat ther is zac vanessa lucas monique but no ashley or corbin and its like taylor isnt really a huge part in the movie and without sharpay it wud be weird so i dont see why the whol cast dont do it or at least the main important cast.
