You will have to go to the 2nd hunting stage and make the rain miracle, so that a snail shows up.
Kill it and he drops the Patapon for the Minigame.

Fever is autostopped after miracles.
You have to go back to Patata Plains and when you reach the totem pole that says "Triangle Circle Triangle Circle" stop a march or 2 before it, and keep doing "^ O ^ O" until a mouth appears and coughes up the "Bent Compass"

use archers - spears combination reach fever mode and attack (use rain miracle if u have it cuz they will not see u easily)
P.S : dont use flame weapons cuz they dont damage the gold birds
