A huge explosion in Garry's mod 10 using life support 1.7.
NOTE: You can't do this anymore. Life support 1.7 has since been broken many times, and new mods have taken it's place, with the fusion nuke part being removed. There are sweps you can download on GarrysMod.org to simulate this with a shell.

For some reason I can't get the huge explosion. I've got the latest versions of both Spacebuild 2 and Life Support 2, I hook up three large power cells to the generator and switch it on without coolant, but when it explodes, nothing. It just vanishes, there's not even a regular explosion. Any idea what could be going wrong?

LS2 has the fusion detonation disabled, for server owners. After all, this video was made a while ago.

Nope, unless you find a REALLY old garry's mod gcf, and old links for ls 1.7, with the old resource systems. Of course, downloading an old garry's mod gcf would be illegal. So no way out.

I actually did this without the Life support on. You have to let the power cells charge to 100,000 energy before you blow up the generator. After that it explodes.

I'll have to wait until they fix the link tool, but I'll keep it in mind. (That major update that added in stuff from the Orange Box seems to have screwed it over)

oh i dont think that you need all the energy cells. two is the exact amount for the bomb to work properly. i believe the explosion size depends on the amout of fusion generators linked to teh cell
