Your just hurting your cause dumbass, who cares if he was a POW? He was not only a POW, he was an American hero. He was offered early release because the NV were hoping for a propaganda win, and he denied it unless everyone put into the camp before him was released. He knows war and knows soldiers aren't toys, he knows the military and knows foreign policy. Lets see, who could better lead our nations, Senator and Congressman for 25 years and POW or Senator for 2 years and community organizer?

The fact remains: McCain (with Bush) has consistently voted AGAINST the GI bill and all other bipartisan bills created to increase the very insufficient funding for war veterans...even now in time of war.
He wants more war..war with Iran and who knows who else..but he won't approve of giving our vets proper medical care when they return home from war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

A group of conservative hacks (Jerome R. Corsi, Bill Gertz, Lt. Col. Robert Buzz Patterson, Joel Mowbray & Richard Miniter) of such titles as "Unfit for Command: Swift Boat Veterans Speak Out Against John Kerry", are filing a suit in Court stating that their publisher (Eagle Publications) gave away copies of their books to avoid royalty payments to these so-called authors. Spreading lies & smearing people: Not as profitable as it should be, evidently.

Didn't mean it like that. It matters what a hero is to you, some would say just joining the military makes you a hero, others think dieing as a soldier makes you a hero, others getting an award makes you a hero, some think you have to do something very courageous and get something like the navy cross or medal of honor to be a hero, and some are even higher than that. In the sense that he was a brave and honorable person that did his service, then yes, he was a hero.

He mercessly bombed defenseless vietnamese women, children, and infants with napalm (gasoline) bombs, from the safety of his plane, while flying at roughly 15,000 to 20,000 ft. high.
When his plane was finally shot down, he was captuered. Because of his atrocities against women and children, his captors broke both of his legs, and dislocated one of his shoulders.

See, this is where a lot of people misunderstand the pro-choice movement. Most don't want willy-nilly abortions for everyone. Roe v. Wade's cornerstone is the right to privacy. If we overturn it, that doesn't just mean no abortion, it's the start of a slippery slope that would hurt the constitution. I myself could never get an abortion, but I am pro-choice because of what could happen if we undo Roe.
