You're dead wrong. If you watch in order, it's Elvin Jones that starts off, then Max Roach and finally Art Blakey. I don't even need the video to tell me that.

No doubt about it ...it was Blakey in first place....Roach in 2nd place ...and Elvin last in thrid place to my surprize. It apeared that Elvin could not get started...going to slow or something and elvin is my main man on drumbs BUT this time I must admit that he lost this battle for sure.

is Buddy Rich the only drummer that people know when it comes to slagging off other drummers. I love Buddy Rich, even when he was house drummer at Disneyworld, but come on, why compare and contrast always? Let each Drummer be unique , and not a match off with Buddy Rich.

Okay, this gets my vote for coolest drum video ever. The sight of Art Blakey puttin' on the show while Max is right behind him nodding his head is beyond cool.
