This video clip was thought to present the 2CDs with the nocturnes played by M. J. Pires, for DG.
I like to listen to music with the eyes closed too, in order to listen better. But when I want to do this I listen to the CD music. This clip is not for that purpose; but I think is very well done: with taste and without exaggeration.

I love this pice so much! It's one of my favorites... It drips emotion, tenderness and passion..I love the scene with the girl, so dreamy and how the end of the piece is represented by the sleepy child going back to bed

I have heard this Nocturne before on Classic Arts Showcase. Ever since, it has been one of my favorites. The sparkling beauty of tone and the pathos made a profound impression on me. This rendition is a rare gem.
