Are you truly telling me that if you were in their shoes you would film it all and not get out of there!! No wonder you liked it so much!! You completely missed the point of what i was saying, but i'm certainly not surprised by that!! So what planet, how did it travel through space, why is it here and as for it being origial try reading HG Wells, you know aliens coming to earth bent on destruction, or was that the day the earth stood still, or was it independence day...... give me a break!!

I really loved this movie. It was original and really frightening. It's in my top 20 of all time and in my top 5 for sci-fi flicks.

concepts are a little old, film style stolen from "the blair witch", but hey, what're ya gonna do, right? every original idea has pretty much been exhausted.
but if another movie is made, a godforsaken "Cloverfield 2", I swear...this movie is nice if it stands alone. A sequel is not in any way, shape, or form nessasary. I'd be happy not knowing where the hell that monster came from. they didn't know, so why should we?

We just got this on DVD (in Germany). I will watch it in a couple of minutes. I've been watching videos related to Martial Law and the upcoming election possibly being cancelled. People who worship Venus and plot out attacks based on the dates when the "Morning star" or "Evening star" will be at next. One video based on NWO told how the Pope was a target! So, really, Hollywood may be "prepping" people for what's to come. Not a monster but, martial law! New World Order. Naaa, probably wrong! :-)
