Nobody batted an eyelash with George Bush Jr. due to his affiliations with American Taliban (Christian Fundamentalists) bigots such as Jerry Falwell and Pat Robertson, both of whom said the US deserved 911. Supposedly "God" struck us because we "harbor gays and lesbians."
