agreed, you'd think that a genuine environmentalist would spend less time trying to prove who is "technically" the worst and focus on modeling a collective effort. It's why trust is an issue. Too many (not everybody of course) anti American, anti capatalism agenas abusing a true call to protect the environment. not a personal attack on anyone, just my thoughts.

Yes you are right. How ridicules point at the worlds worst polluter. It is everyone else's fault. Is it those evil men in the middle east causing global warming? You should kill them and steal their oil to fuel your Green revolution. OH! You already did kill them all but you are using their oil to fuel your your continuing disregard for the planet. I recall there was such a dedication on the sleeve. Nick Laird-Clowes (the singer, who also co-wrote some Pink Floyd songs) now owns one of Nick Drake's guitars.

I love that story pomsgurl. This has been one of my favorite songs since the 80's and I never wanted to watch the video so it wouldn't ruin my perception of the song (videos do that sometimes-take away your imagination). I watched the video today and it was just about the same as I pictured in my mind! Pretty amazing :)
