road35 Its so funny everyone likes to pick on the italians, when in fact the italians had the lowest infractions in the entire 06 tournament... the portuguese had the most horrible laughable game ever. The french dive and every team dives, its just a bandwagon jumping stigma to pick on the italians when your own team is a disgrace. The only dive that people talked shit about, was the actual justified foul from the australians.

Yet people don't like to talk about the foul and 1 goal that france won over portugal...and the blatant dive from france in the final. It is too funny when people read a thread, or think they know what they are talking about and talk shit. Portugal is just a diving team.
We didn't came in the game because of al that diving of them and it wasn't really a game.
Holland had to have a penalty but it wasn't given. But Holland will never give up. We had and have the best players on the world.
It's a shame you had 11 individual players at euro 2008 (Portugal)
Holland was 1 team and have win from Italy (3-0) and France (4-1)
But there is just one country who deserves to win an EK or a WK and that is ... HollanD ...

I'm not really sure you can say any one team "deserves" any given title. Granted, I'll give you that Holland was a contender in that World Cup, but so were teams like Brazil and Argentina and look what happened to them.
Plus, to be fair, Holland was badass in the last Euro and should've done much better. It was their own fault they lost...

Portugal at euro 2008,had a wonderfull team,I don´t even imagine how she got beaten.
It just didn´t looked possible,with C.Ronaldo playing so well(expecially versus Germany),and Scolari praying to the "Caravaggio"Saint.
You won against France 4-1,and italy 3-0,but Portugal has drawn with Lichenstain 1-1,and lost against Swizterland 1-0,so Portugal in Euro 2008,was better.
