A lot of the quality of that fight (and the Wheels On Meals entry) is down to the brilliance of the action choreographer, Sammo Hung. Jackie was always at his martial arts best and most powerful when Sammo choreographed him.

Yuen Wah also doubled Bruce Lee for the flips in Fist Of Fury (The Chinese Connection in the US).
For the whirlwind kick Jackie was actually doubled by Chin Kar-Lok (in some prints of the film there's a slow-motion version of this kick preceding the full-speed one we see here, but it was cut from many prints presumably because you could clearly see it wasn't Jackie). Yuen Biao has doubled Jackie on quite a few other occasions in other movies.

Actually, Dragons Forever was also co-directed by Corey Yuen, and Yuen Biao is also credited as a choreographer. So not all the credit goes to Sammo.

Thx for this list. I would have put some other fights, which I think can be considered as his best ones as well :
- The end fight of City Hunter, against Richard Norton
- The end fight of Powerman 3
- The end Casino fight of "Thunderbolt"
- The construction fight in "Mr. Nice guy"
- The factory fight in "Twinkle Twinkle lucky stars"
- The end fight of "Who am I ?"
But yours are definitely good ones too ;)

When did I say he needed to kick ass? Just b/c you're a great fighter doesn't mean that your job is to fight. Most bodyguards in the world are trained to fight. Jackie hired him b/c he could hold his own against crazy fans.

Of course. Hell, there was once a show about papparazzi's. One of them was daring a bodyguard to hit him so he could sue back. A fan could do the same.
