I will never forget the time I first heard this song and saw the video! I love babyface..so of course I got excited for a new song and with stevie..that great..then the song started,and then the video,wow, complete shock!Just blows you away! words and story are so haunting!I was taught from the day I was born, that woman are momuments of strength,and that they deserve all the respect in the world!I hnad something like this happen to my family, but me and my brothers helped aunt before was 2 late

The words to this song and the video are so powerful. Men who beat their girlfriends and wives up, and then claim that they love them are big bullies. If you love someone you do not hit them, EVER!. Why didn't the Neighbours do something, when they knew what was going on. So sad that she was arrested at the end of the vid, hadn't she been through enough already.
