In another interview Nelson Linder says "I met Ron Paul about 20 years ago on another station and he was doing a presentation and I called in and talked to him."
It doesn't sound like he has been a close friend to Ron Paul and could accurately speak about his character. It would be more fair to say he's know of Ron Paul for 20 years:

The thing i've had aginst ron paul is his alleged racisim, if thats out of the way I agree with a lot of what he says except for the duality of him wanting for free people yet take away the right of row v way. Its also disturbing how many of his supportors are quick to bash Obama specifically. Check out the comments below the dude who says Obama 08'. His supportors are racists and border line racists. So it has to do with the company he keeps, er attracts. I like the constitution tho.

Babbler, I think.
He seems only concerned with the well-being of black people. Why not try to improve all people's well-being? Seems racist, which also makes it hypocritical, since he seems to LOVE to call others racist. Probably makes him feel powerful, but in reality it should reveal that he is ignorant, which is further backed by his request for more government intervention. No thank you.
Most definitely either ignorant or selfish, I think.
