People who say "no conspiracy" in the 1963 assassination of JFK, are wrong. The vice-president to John Kennedy, Lyndon Baines Johnson, did conspire with high ranking members of US government agencies to assassinate another head of state.
This killing took place in the same month & year of 1963, just before the planned JFK assassination.

Yeah, but that was a crappy rifle he used. The Italian made rifle was a very hated rifle by hunters and other gun experts. It was a lousy type of rife to shoot.

Face it, LHO was to goofy to pull it off, when people started to reason that he indeed could be innocent he was silenced. Ruby took center stage and by the time some smoke cleared, most had forgot the possible assassins and mourned the loss of the president.
Personally I believe the "Bay of Pigs" screw-up mixed with his non compliance or tolerance for organized crime made him a target. With the mafia and Cuba grudges in the air it was only time.
