That's one of the meanest things I've ever seen here. It isn't funny, it's revolting. Having a glass of water handy doesn't justify purposefully torturing your pet. Won't try it again, surely... but it probably won't be trusting humans much after that, period. Our job is to protect these precious creatures, not play dirty tricks on them.

You're an idiot. It wouldn't harm the ferret at all would it? The ferret wanted to lick it...it disliked it. That's called a learning process. We have the same thing. If someone offered you food, and disliked it. Would you call them cruel?
No, because you're responsible to what you eat. These peppers grow in nature, so it's not cruel to expose your ferret to some nature

the only problem is that animals have a more developed taste and if they do not get water or what they need to get the taste out it could die.but what you say is also true.just if it wants water give it to him cause not it will die wich is quite bad.me i have a dumb ass dog wich once pissed on a electri pole and he got a nasty shock and now he dose all his things(shit and piss)in my back yard and he dose not like poles anymore.
