I thought comedy was supposed to be fun AND funny. This dude freaks out and goes to Africa.
Comedy Central was WAY too generous to him when he took their money and ran away with it. Then he choked and they were suckers not to sue the shit out of him and instead settled for the Lost Episodes (a pathetic excuse for a season 3). Dave Chappelle is an awesome comic, but he is also a chump with no honor.

Bringing it back to integrity over money is a complete cop-out designed to distract one from the reality of the situation. Homeboy choked under the pressure. It's sad, but it's more embarrassing to his fans who bought his merchandise, loved and supported him only for him to wash his hands of the entire business. Shameful.

He doesn't owe you or anyone any explanations. Far from your false belief about him "running off to africa," he is living life on his own terms now. Tell this "having anxiety" crap to any one of the fans over the last 2 years that have had the luck to see him randomly pop up at certain venues across the country and perform 6-hour, completely unannounced stand up routines till its too late at night to go on any later and then he meets ALL the fans after the show. dont be ignorant.

It's not false that Dave Chappelle ran away to Africa. Didn't your mom ever teach you that running away solves nothing? You can all negative my comments and follow this guy like lemmings over the cliff, but you can't silence me or my opinion. Believe me, i won't run to Africa or have an anxiety attack on you either.
